Track your job applications and follow up systematically

Use the Job Application Tracker to maintain one record for each vacancy you are pursuing. Enter the employer name, position, application date and link to the advertisement. Choose a status such as Applied, Interview or Offer, and add your next follow-up date. You can search your records instead of scrolling through old emails or WhatsApp conversations.

For example, if you apply for a Business Development Manager position on 12 October and want to check progress on 17 October, enter those two dates in the application. When the follow-up date is due, the tracker highlights the item when you next open the page. This is an on-screen reminder, not an email, SMS or WhatsApp notification.

Keep notes factual: record what the hiring manager said, the next action and any documents requested. Do not store passwords, national identity numbers or other unnecessary confidential information. Your applications are saved automatically in this browser. Clearing browser storage can remove them, so regularly export the JSON backup. If you sign into your WordPress account, an optional account backup can be saved and loaded manually; it is not continuous synchronization.

The tracker is a personal organization tool. It does not submit applications to employers, check whether a vacancy is genuine or guarantee an interview. Revisit it after each application, reply or interview to keep your job search record useful.

Will it notify me when a follow-up is due?

Due dates appear when you open the tracker. It does not send automatic messages.
